Ma-Ha Photography Ione Photographer travels to Santa Cruz Ca

November 30, 2012

The second wedding I ever photographed was of Scott and Sarah Berger. What a beautiful wedding it was. We have since done a theme shoot for their anniversary and now i had the extreme pleasure of doing a Trash the Dress shoot with Sarah. When we started talking about doing this shoot, Sarah's dream was always to do it in water. As most people know I was born and raised in the great city of Santa Cruz. I thought it would always be fun to go there someday for a shoot. (That and Hawaii but I'm still working on that one) So I offered to shoot it there. She agreed and it was set. Due to busy schedules and lack of time we weren't able to go there over the summer to photograph. Well us being determined to get this shoot done, we decided to do the shoot in the beautiful month of November. So ok maybe November is not the greatest month to go and climb on rocks and into the ocean but we seen brave (and maybe a little crazy). We picked the day and made a plan. Our spouse's off as well so we all could enjoy the time. Sarah wanted to make her own headpiece for this shoot. She wanted shots that were more "free spirited" and incorporated the four elements. Earth wind water and fire. We met there the day of the shoot. Sarah's headpiece turned out awesome! I took them to three different locations for the shoot. I think we both were pleased with the results. I hope you enjoy them too.
